?THEN SAMUEL took the vial of oil and poured it on Saul's head and kissed him and said, Has not the Lord anointed you to be prince over His heritage Israel?? ? 1 Samuel 10:1 AMP.
The kingly Anointing is the Anointing that ushered people
into the office of a king. It
is the Anointing that turned an ordinary person into the king of Israel. The 2 greatest
examples of the kingly Anointing are seen in the lives of David and Saul.
You will notice how King Saul rose to a place of
authority through the Anointing. The Lord sent Samuel to Anoint Saul, an
ordinary person.
You will see how Saul was completely transformed into a
different person and was exalted because of the Anointing.
You may ask, ?What does this kingly Anointing have to do
with us?? Well,
God has called us to be kings and priests unto Him.
?And from Jesus Christ
the faithful and trustworthy Witness, the Firstborn of the dead [first to be
brought back to life] and the Prince (Ruler) of the kings of the earth. To Him
Who ever loves us and has once [for all] loosed and freed us from our sins by
His own blood, 6And formed us into a kingdom (a royal race), priests
to His God and Father--to Him be the glory and the power and the majesty and
the dominion throughout the ages and forever and ever. Amen (so be it).? ? Revelation
1:5-6 AMP.
It is only by the Anointing that you will fulfil this
calling to authority and true kingship.
?For if because of
one man?s trespass (lapse, offense) death reigned through that one, much more
surely will those who receive [God?s] overflowing grace (unmerited favour) and
the free gift of righteousness [putting them into right standing with Himself]
REIGN AS KINGS in life through the one man Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the
Anointed One). ? Romans 5:17 AMP.
Nothing can compare with the Kingly Anointing. This powerful anointing lifts a person to place of high authority in God.
15 Powerful effects of the Kingly Anointing:
1. After you are
Anointed, you will recover things you have lost.
?When you have left me
today, you will meet two men by Rachel's tomb in the territory of Benjamin at
Zelzah, and they will say to you, The donkeys you sought are found. And
your father has quit caring about them and is anxious for you, asking, What
shall I do about my son?? ? 1 Samuel 10:2 AMP.
2. The Kingly
Anointing will make you go forward and make progress in life.
?Then you will go
on from there and you will come to the oak of Tabor, and three men going up
to God at Bethel will meet you there, one carrying three kids, another carrying
three loaves of bread, and another carrying a skin bottle of wine. ? ? 1
Samuel 10:3 AMP.
3. The Kingly
Anointing will make men salute you.
You will no longer be ignored and disregarded. Those who despised you
will be forced to reckon with you.
?They will greet
(salute) you?? ? 1 Samuel 10:4 AMP.
4. The Kingly
Anointing will cause men to give to you.
It is because of the Anointing that men will come to you with gifts and
offerings.
??and give you two
loaves of bread, which you shall accept from their hand.? ? 1 Samuel
10:4 AMP.
5. You will go to
God?s presence.
You will find yourself spending more time in the house of God because of
the Anointing of your life.
?After
that you will come to the hill of God??1 Samuel 10:5 AMP.
6. The Anointing
will set you up to meet certain people.
You are now destined to meet certain spiritual men/women who will
sharpen your ministry. When
their mantle combines with yours, your spiritual authority will be multiplied.
?you will meet a company of prophets
coming down from the high place with harp, tambourine, flute, and lyre before
them, prophesying. ? ? 1 Samuel 10:5 AMP.
7. The Kingly
Anointing will make you prophesy.
To prophesy is to speak under the guidance of the inspiration of the
Holy Spirit. You
will definitely speak under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit because of the
Anointing.
?Then
the Spirit of the Lord will come upon you mightily, and you will show
yourself to be a prophet with them?? ? 1 Samuel 10:6 AMP.
8. You will be
transformed into another person.
People who knew you before you were Anointed will be unable to relate
with you in your transformed status.
??and you will be turned
into another man.? ? 1 Samuel 10:6 AMP.
9. Do whatever
you find to be done.
??do
whatever you find to be done, for God is with you.? ? 1 Samuel 10:7 AMP.
You will take decisions naturally and flow with God as you go along. Your
decisions will be inspired by the Spirit of God from the day that you receive
the Kingly Anointing. That
is why you can do ?whatever you find to
be done?.
10. Your heart
will be changed.
??God gave him another
heart?? ? 1 Samuel 10:9 AMP.
Without a change of heart, you cannot receive the Anointing or use it. God
had to give Saul another heart with which he could carry the Anointing.
11. Your calling
will be questioned.
You cannot enter the ministry without being challenged, questioned and
resisted. Such
things are to be expected at the beginning of your ministry.
?And when all who knew
Saul before saw that he spoke by inspiration among the [schooled] prophets, the
people said one to another, What has come over [him, who is nobody but] the
son of Kish? Is Saul also among the prophets? 12One from
that same place answered, But who is the father of the others? So it became a
proverb, Is Saul also among the prophets?? ? 1 Samuel 10:11-12 AMP.
12. The Kingly
Anointing will cause people to support you.
?And Samuel said to
all the people, Do you see him whom the Lord has chosen, that none like him is
among all the people? And all the people shouted and said, Long live the
king!? ? 1 Samuel 10:24 AMP.
13. Some people?s
hearts will be touched to follow you.
?Saul also went home
to Gibeah; and there went with him a band of valiant men whose hearts
God had touched. ? ? 1 Samuel 10:26 AMP.
14. The Kingly
Anointing will stir up opposition.
?But some worthless
fellows said, How can this man save us? And they despised him and
brought him no gift.? ? 1 Samuel 10:27 AMP.
The sons of Satan are equally inspired to oppose every new thing that
God does. Without
opposition, you should even question your calling. The
presence of opposition is a sign of God?s calling and Anointing on your life.
15. The Kingly
Anointing will stir up despisement.
?And they
despised him and brought him no gift. But he held his peace and was as if
deaf.? ? 1 Samuel 10:27 AMP.
Some people will not honour you with gifts and offerings in spite
of what God does with your life. Scoffers and mockers are a
normal feature on the road to the Anointing. Take
heart and press on. God
has touched the hearts of several people who will support you.
This is your time?it is your ?Kairos? to rise up in the Anointing
of a King!
Choose to
receive the Kingly Anointing, regardless of opposition, and start to reign in
this life as a king.
