Be ready, 2012 will be the year where people will start to go on to perfection. The word perfection in the Greek is the same word as maturity. Coming forth as sons of God, is coming forth in maturity, is coming forth in perfection, into the very life of Christ.
Hebrews 6:1 says “Let us not lay again the foundation of the first principles in Christ…but let us go onto perfection”. Creation is waiting for someone to break through into the revelation of the sons of the Almighty God.
“The mystery of which was hidden for ages and generations [from angels and men], but is now revealed to His holy people (the saints), to whom God was pleased to make known how great for the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ within and among you, the Hope of [realizing the] glory” - Colossians 1:26-27 AMP.
There is a mystery that was hidden for many, many ages but NOW (that was the now of 2000 years ago) is revealed. God was ready to reveal again to the saints and to the world the riches of the glory of the mystery. So, there is a mystery. The mystery was hidden. This hidden mystery has a glory. God was now ready to reveal the glory of the mystery that was hidden. Many people just go for the mystery, but the mystery contains an ingredient called ‘glory’. This glory is Christ is in you, but Christ in you is hope of another glory. This glory of Christ in us, takes us (if we get the answers and lead the life) from glory to glory, which is Christ formed in us in perfection and maturity.
“And all of us, as with unveiled face, [because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another; [for this comes] from the Lord [Who is] the Spirit” - 2 Corinthians 3:18 AMP.
We are changed from glory to glory to the image of Christ. The first degree of glory is Christ in me (Col 1:26) and the second degree of glory is “fullness” of Christ. Who is Christ? He is the Son of God. What is creation waiting for? For the sons of God to be made manifest.
“For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father [of Eternity], Prince of Peace” - Isaiah 9:6 AMP.
Child = Jesus
Son = Christ
Government = Lord
You shall call His name ‘Jesus’, but He was made ‘Christ’ and He was made ‘Lord’. He was not born Christ, He was not born Lord. He was born Jesus (the child), was made Christ (the Son), and was made Lord, with the government on His shoulders.
When Jesus came out of the desert, the first thing people shouted when they saw Him, (demon possessed people) was: “We know who You are, You are the Christ, the Son of God”. Satan tempted Him and said: “If You are the Son of God, if You are the Son of God, if You are the Son of God.” So creation is waiting for the Son, the Christ to gain full stature in our lives.
Now, the mystery was: Christ is already in us. That mystery has been revealed, it is not closed anymore, it is not hidden anymore. The mystery that was hidden is now revealed and the revelation of the mystery is glorious. That glory is Christ is in us and when we work on this glory (of Christ in us), we will go from glory to glory and be made the manifested sons of God in the earth. We will walk like Christ, talk like Christ, do like Christ, speak like Christ, and perform like Christ.
“I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, if anyone steadfastly believes in Me, he will himself be able to do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these, because I go to the Father” - John 14:12 AMP.
“For [even the whole] creation (all nature) waits expectantly and longs earnestly for God’s sons to be made known [waits for the revealing, the disclosing of their sonship].20 For the creation (nature) was subjected to frailty (to futility, condemned to frustration), not because of some intentional fault on its part, but by the will of Him Who so subjected it—[yet] with the hope 21 That nature (creation) itself will be set free from its bondage to decay and corruption [and gain an entrance] into the glorious freedom of God’s children” - Romans 8:19-21 AMP.
The whole creation: Everything that is nature is waiting. ‘Expectantly’, shows that creation is pregnant. Don’t you want to make a quality decision that says, “I am going to cause that water to break; I am going to cause that birth to take place, I want to be that manifested son of God. I want Christs’s life to break forth into the earth today, and when people look at me they must see Christ When they look at me they must realize that it is Christ. When they listen to me they must hear Christ.”
There are 2 glories: The whole of creation has a hope of glory, waiting for the glory. Colossians say that we have the hope of glory – Christ in us. That is the hope of the real glory. Romans says creation has got this hope. For what? For the glorious manifestation of the sons. Somewhere, somebody must stand up and say, “I will go from glory to glory. I am going to be a manifested son of God. My hands must be Christ’s hands, my mouth must be Christ’s mouth, my breath must be Christ’s breath, my words must be His words”. (Whoever speaks, [let him do it as one who utters] oracles of God; whoever renders service, [let him do it] as with the strength which God furnishes abundantly – 1 Peter 4:10-11 AMP).
“My little children, for whom I am again suffering birth pangs until Christ is completely and permanently formed (molded) within you” - Galatians 4:19
He calls them little children – the same as he called them in 1 Corinthians 3 – “When I came to you, Corinthians, I could not speak to you as mature, but I had to speak to you as little children”. He could not speak to them as mature, but as little children, even babes in Jesus Christ (in the Amplified Bible). I wanted to speak to you as mature people, I want you to get the sonship, I want you to get the message of the Son of God, I want you to come forth in boldness and in power, but I must speak to you as little babies. You are in need of milk again and not strong meat.
“For everyone who continues to feed on milk is obviously inexperienced and unskilled in the doctrine of righteousness (of conformity to the divine will in purpose, thought, and action), for he is a mere infant [not able to talk yet]! 14 But solid food is for full-grown men, for those whose senses and mental faculties are trained by practice to discriminate and distinguish between what is morally good and noble and what is evil and contrary either to divine or human law” - Hebrews 5:13-14 AMP.
Paul says he is again suffering birth pangs – he is expectant, in travail. Again!! For one purpose: till Christ is formed in you. So Paul is in fact saying, “You’ve got the mystery, you’ve got the richness, and you’ve got the first glory which is the hope, because you have started off in the Holy Spirit. You did not start off in the law, you did not go to legalistic things, you came out of Jewish traditions and religions and activities and regulations and the Spirit of God touched you, came upon you and put a hope inside of you”. There is only one purpose: Christ, the Son of God must be formed in you!
DO YOU WANT IT; DO YOU WANT TO BE ONE OF THOSE WHO WILL BREAK THROUGH?
Again let us go back to Isaiah 9:6: “For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father [of Eternity], Prince of Peace” AMP.
He could have added to the list: Lily of the Valley, Bright Morning Star, Bread of Life, Fountain of Living Water, The Way, The Truth, The Life, He could have added any of the things that you can name him, but He is Jesus Christ the Lord. That is who He is: The Lord Jesus Christ. You can call Him 365 names out of the Bible (one for every day of the year) – Faithful, True, Beginning, End, Alpha, Omega, but He is the Lord Jesus Christ. He is Jesus, our Saviour. Lord, the one we bow down to. Christ, the one who dwells within us. You can never be a saviour – you are not Jesus. You can never be lord – you are not God, but you can be a Christ-ian. You can let the glory (which is a hope) take you to another glory (which is Christ formed in you) and nobody will know the difference between you and Christ!
